I’m not sure what to expect just yet, but something tells me this might be the place where I can finally rest easy, steal a few hearts, and maybe—just maybe—find my own sense of home.

Life on the track was tough, but Caribbean Thoroughbred Aftercare (CTA) stepped in to help me find a second chance. They entrusted me to Mareworthy, where I’ve been living my best life ever since—full of sass, sunshine, and freedom.

But Mareworthy found me, and with the support of my old racing connections—who hadn’t seen me in over 12 years but still cared—I was rescued. Now, I cherish every day with my filly by my side, safe and sound.

Dearest friends, I’m Worthy of Wings, the namesake of Mareworthy. I raced 87 times in the mainland U.S. before being exported to Puerto Rico, where I ran another 51 races. At age 13, Caribbean Thoroughbred Aftercare (CTA) worked with my racing connections to retire me from racing and entrusted me to Mareworthy’s founder. Together, we competed in the 2019 RRP Thoroughbred Makeover, an experience that inspired the founding of Mareworthy. Now, I spend my days surrounded by love, reflecting on the journey that led me here, and inspiring others to see the worth in every life.
